On June 28, within the framework of the project “Promoting Women’s engagement in Environmental Advocacy in Rustavi,” 20 girls/women and a boy were in Dighomi meadows.

Of course, we discussed the importance of Rustavi’s floodplains on the way to the floodplains of Dighomi. Then, we saw the state of the Dighomi meadows And the consequences of systemic problems and environmental pollution. We talked about the importance of urban biodiversity, the role of an activist in saving indoor spaces, and How women can strengthen such struggles.

Many thanks to Ana Trapaidze, defender of Dighomi meadows, for her fight and for being a defender of floodplains.

The project is supported by the Women’s Fund in Georgia.
