Eco Centre announces a paid internship.
Place of Internship: Rustavi
Estimated start date of internship: December 15
Working Schedule: Part-time
Salary: 100$ equivalent in GEL (GROSS)
Eco Centre is an environmental organization, the most part of activities, implemented within the Eco Centre is fully adapted to the needs of the civil movement “Gavigudet”, hence the greatest part of the intern’s time will be devoted to “Gavigudet” activities and fighting against air pollution.
Considering the specifics of the organization the position is only open for Rustavi residents. We will support students as much as possible so that they can combine their internship with their studies. Previous experience is not required, however, will be considered as a slight advantage. The key point for the candidate is to be highly motivated, detail-oriented and interested in environmental issues. The rest will be learnt in the working process.
We are looking for a candidate, with whom, if possible, we will cooperate on a long-term basis, so we will be happy to receive applications from those candidates, who see their future in this field.
Qualification Requirements:
- At least a second-year student;
- Languages: Georgian (perfectly), English (B2)
- Office Programs (word, excel);
- Academic writing.
Required Skills:
- High sense of responsibility; highly motivated in his/her job;
- Teamwork and high working ethic;
- Quick learner and interested in environmental activities;
- Focused on development;
- Communicational and analytical skills.
Duties:
- Participation in the daily activities of the organization;
- Helping in organizing working meetings and other events;
- Assisting in the management of social media and website.
Hiring process consists of the following steps:
- Short-list candidates based on their CV and motivation letter;
- Interview with the short-listed candidates.
