Today, on April 5th, as part of the “Women’s Fund” project – “Empowering Women Environmentalists for Sustainable Advocacy,” we conducted a seminar on creating visual materials using Canva.
The seminar was attended by women from various professions, including teachers, pupils, and students from Rustavi, Tbilisi, Akhali Samgori, and the village Martkopi.
Participants learned the fundamentals of working in Canva; using and editing templates offered by the program; independently assembling desired designs on a blank canvas; and other functions.
After completing the theoretical part of the seminar, we had a practical exercise, which involved creating individual or group designs based on the information already received. The content suggested for design assembly echoed environmental issues, and participants reflected their views or attitudes towards various environmental problems in their designs.
