Women’s Leadership in Environmental Advocacy

The objective of this project is to enhance the active participation, leadership and capability of women by implementing environmental and social action initiatives. Through targeted empowerment trainings, education and community engagement program the project aims to foster a heightened sense of environmental consciousness and social responsibility among women, ultimately contributing to sustainable development and gender equality.

To achieve the project objective the following activities will be implemented:

1. Preparing and publishing informational materials regarding women and climate change;
2. Engage women in public deliberations of the technical documents of enterprises, operating in Rustavi;
3. 3-hour training on Environmental Advocacy and Civil Activism;
4. Informational tour and discussion in Dighomi Meadows;
5. Movie screening about women environmentalist and discussion;
6. Networking dinner with at least 7 household representatives (that are mainly women) to discuss partnership opportunities of the community-based recycling program.
