On February 29, British Ambassador Mark Clayton and Political Officer Sophie Berishvili paid a visit to Eco Centre.
We have introduced “Gavigudet” and “Eco Centre” activities to our guests and discussed the project that Eco Centre implemented with the support of the British Embassy. The name of the project is “Strengthening the Network of Environmentalists in Kvemo Kartli Region.”
In the framework of this project our team was able to organize a umber of training sessions, informational tours, informational materials. Moreover, this project made it possible to continue another phase of the “turn plastic into trees” contest to combat plastic pollution.
Our team presented a summary presentation about the course and the outcomes of the project.
