Today, on October 18th, “Eco Centre” visited Rustavi Public School #22. The event was supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and aimed to raise environmental awareness among students.
During the meeting, representatives of “Eco Centre” discussed various environmental issues with the students. The discussion was conducted in an entertaining and interactive format, which received positive feedback from the students.
“Eco Centre” thanks Teacher Lela Farsenadze and her students for the productive meeting and their interest in environmental care.
It’s noteworthy that the school students are involved in a waste reduction campaign, which ends on October 20th. This initiative will contribute to implementing sustainable development principles in practice and fostering a sense of environmental responsibility among students.
The waste paper collected by the school will be used for the restoration of Rustavi’s floodplain forest.
