On October 11th, the “Eco Centre” visited the School of Innovations in Rustavi. The meeting aimed to raise students’ environmental awareness. The event was held with the support of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Students participated in fun and practical activities focused on important environmental issues such as:
- Air quality
- Climate change
- Waste management
As part of the event, the school was given an air quality monitoring station. With the active involvement of the school’s leadership and teachers, this device will soon begin monitoring air quality on the school premises.
At the end of next week, paper and plastic waste collected by the school’s students and teachers will be handed over to the “Eco Centre” for urban greening projects.
This initiative represents an important step towards raising environmental awareness and developing practical skills among young people.
