On September 25th, representatives from “Eco Centre” visited New Samgori School. The main purpose of the visit was to acknowledge the school’s exceptional activity in the plastic collection competition and to discuss the importance of environmental protection.
The school administration demonstrated impressive results – they managed to involve the entire New Samgori community in the plastic collection process. This initiative goes beyond the school environment and has a significant impact on the local community.
It is particularly encouraging that the school plans to continue waste sorting and environmental care, regardless of whether “Eco Centre” continues its operations.
During the visit, an entertaining quiz on environmental pollution was conducted. There was also a discussion about the importance of active involvement of the school community in creating a green and sustainable future.
“Eco Centre” thanks the school’s teachers and students for the fruitful meeting.
The meeting was held with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.
