Today, on April 19th, as part of the “Women’s Fund Georgia” project – “Empowerment of Women Environmentalists and Waste Reduction Campaign,” we conducted a seminar on creating visual materials using Canva.
Given the high demand, the seminar was held online using the Zoom platform to provide an opportunity for women and girls living in different regions to learn the basics of design.
Participants from Rustavi, Tbilisi, Ozurgeti, Bolnisi, and Dusheti attended the seminar.
Participants learned the fundamentals of working in Canva, using and editing templates offered by the program, independently assembling desired designs on a blank canvas, and other functions.
After completing the theoretical part of the seminar, we had a practical exercise, which involved creating designs independently based on the information received. The suggested content for the design was related to environmental issues, and participants reflected their vision or attitude toward various ecological problems in their designs.
We are glad that within the framework of this project, we had the opportunity to cover other regions with the Canva seminar and further expand the number of Eco Centre friends.
