Today, on June 21, we conducted a 3-hour training on environmental advocacy and civic activism.
The training was attended by individuals interested in active citizenship and environmental issues from Rustavi, Tbilisi, and Gardabani.
During the training, we introduced participants to the purpose of our activities, discussed environmental problems in Rustavi, challenges and achievements in air pollution, talked about environmental advocacy, and the importance of civic activism. We discussed the essence, goals, and objectives of advocacy.
Participants also learned about planning advocacy strategies.
We are glad that the interest in environmental advocacy and the number of our friends are growing.
