On September 24th, “Eco Centre” welcomed representatives from the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Estonian Center for International Development. The main purpose of the visit was to evaluate the progress of the project “Accelerating Eco-friendly Development: Raising Awareness and Promoting Sustainable Waste Management.”

This project, supported by Estonia, encompasses several significant initiatives:

  1. Reforestation campaign of the Rustavi Floodplain Forest
  2. Paper recycling program
  3. Educational activities for schools and citizens

During the meeting, we discussed the project’s progress, “Eco Centre’s” activities, and the challenges faced by the civil sector.

“Eco Centre” extends its gratitude to Estonia for their support and contribution to creating a better environment.

This collaboration once again confirms the importance of international partnerships in environmental issues and highlights the steps taken towards sustainable development in Georgia.
